Scripture for today:
This wonderful week, we shall be looking at what Jesus did on the cross as He did not only come to give us eternal life.
Jesus Christ came to the earth to give us eternal life and in doing so, He reconnected us who believe back into the Father. Jesus became sin for us and took the punishment for sin so that we who believe in Him might become the righteousness of God in Christ Jesus. We therefore becoming the righteousness of God are reconnected back to God Who sees no sin in us anymore because Jesus has paid the price, now we being righteous, can produce the fruits of righteousness in ourselves. As a popular preacher of the Gospel would always say, "right believing will bring about right living".
